Harris began working with my son at the beginning of his sophomore year of high school because he lacked confidence in expressing himself through his writing. Over the course of the next three years, my son not only became a much more sophisticated writer, but he started to truly enjoy writing. His junior and senior year English and History teachers commented on his grasp of content, thoughtful written analyses, and participation. We attribute this academic and personal growth in large part to Harris’ encouragement and training.
