
My Approach
Each student requires a singular approach. This conviction is central to my work. I seek to meet every learner at their level of academic development and learn their habits and history before preparing an individualized scaffolded approach. I work with students one-on-one and in groups of four or fewer.
I support students in honing their specific skill sets and meeting their personal academic goals. A quarter century of teaching students and coaching athletes has sharpened my ability to recognize and respond to their needs. I apply the best practices I’ve learned to nurture thoughtful, independent, motivated thinkers.
I firmly believe that humor and a personal relationship go a long way in reaching students of any age and background, so don’t be surprised if you hear laughter, maybe even some howling, coming from both sides of the screen.
